Pure copper isn't magnetic. Most of the copper jewelry sold online is either plated (a thin copper coating over a cheaper metal like steel or brass) or alloyed with enough iron or nickel to make it feel magnetic — that's the quickest way to spot a fake.
The test is simple:
- Grab any fridge magnet
- Hold it against your cuff, ring, or necklace
- If it sticks — even slightly — it isn't pure copper
- If it doesn't stick, you're holding the real thing
Every piece I make is 99.9% pure copper — never plated, never alloyed with cheap metals. Run the test on yours the day it arrives. If it ever fails, I'll refund you immediately.

Pure copper changes with wear — it darkens, deepens, takes on a warmth that the bright new finish doesn't have. Most of my long-time customers prefer it that way. They say it starts to look like theirs.
When you want to bring the shine back, mix a little lemon juice with a pinch of table salt. Rub it gently over the surface, rinse with warm water, dry it well. That's all it takes. Nothing special. Nothing you don't already have in your kitchen.

Every piece I’ve made has started with the same purpose: creating copper jewelry meant to be worn close to the skin.
For thousands of years, people have worn copper and valued it for its connection to everyday well-being. While I can’t make medical claims, I’ve spent more than 40 years handcrafting copper jewelry and hearing from customers who swear by wearing it daily.
Now, after four decades at the workbench, I’m choosing to spend more time with my family and grandchildren.
Every piece in this collection is made by hand from 99.9% pure copper. There are only so many available—and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
